I urge you to adopt a resolution that (1) declares media diversity to be a national priority, (2) encourages the FCC to work with media companies and multicultural media stakeholders to develop common ground solutions, and (3) establishes the month of May as National Media Diversity Month, during which efforts are encouraged to promote media diversity appreciation and support.  Join us.

Lack of media diversity is not just a Hollywood problem. The negative societal impacts from the economic concentration, stifling of diverse voices and perpetuation of divisive cultural narratives makes it a national problem that must be addressed.
